We all have a story to tell and this is mine.
My name is Bekim Christensen and I got my first racing bike when I was 12 years old and since then I have ridden several hundred thousand kilometers on a bicycle. In 1999 I got my first professional contract at the small German team called Team EC Bayer Voringen.
I was professionnel in 6 years and my biggest achievement as a cyclist was when I won the Team competition in Tour de France in 2003 , together with Team CSC,
I have participated in all major races including, Tour de France, Vuelta Ciclista a España, Paris–Roubaix, Milan–San Remo, Tour of Flanders and many, many more.
Today I am an elite triathlete living in Girona, Spain
My story
In 2004, I raced my last season as a cyclist and I am doing adult training as an electrician, but the " normal life " is not me at all and I miss competing.
So I start doing triathlons in 2013
I really enjoy doing triathlon and love the challenge that there is always something to improve because there are 3 disciplines to work on.
In 2022 I won La Liga in Spain which is a continuous series of 4 half-distance ironman (1.9 km / 90 km / 21.1 km)
In the picture I win the first division in Empuriabrava in northern Spain.

Today I live in Girona, which is 100 km north of Barcelona and right at the foot of the Pyrenees. Here, together with my girlfriend Fie Østerby, I have started the company Bike Camp Spain, which is a company that gives people from all over the world fantastic cycling experiences in Spain.
For now, our focus area is Girona as we believe it is cycling paradise on earth, but we also do camps in Altae north of Alicante and tours across the Pyrenees starting in San Sebastian and ending either in Girona or Barcelona. IN
